Abstract

Unstable Angina Pectoris/ UAP (Unstable angina pectoris) is a heart disease category of Acute Coronary Syndrome , which is a condition where chest pain occurs such as pressure, feeling of fullness, squeezing, and feeling heavy, which usually occurs at rest. The purpose of this study was to apply comprehensive nursing care to patients with Unstable Angina Pectoris/ UAP. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The results showed that the three patients had the main complaints, namely chest pain that radiated, the body felt weak, complained of fatigue and an increase in heart rate during activity. Nursing problems that occur in all patients are acute pain, disturbed sleep patterns and activity intolerance. Thus, interventions that can be implemented are pain management such as identifying PQRST pain, and nonverbal responses, providing deep breathing relaxation techniques accompanied by remembrance and providing analgesics. Within 3 days of implementing the pain complaint, the average pain was reduced from the NRS 5 pain scale to the NRS 2 pain scale. This has been proven in several studies and has been shown to have an effect on relieving pain complaints in patients. The conclusion of this study is the management of Unstable Angina Pectoris through pain management by providing deep breathing relaxation techniques accompanied by remembrance and providing analgesics can reduce pain complaints, so that the need for comfort is met Keywords: Unstable Angina Pectoris, Chest Pain, Deep Breathing Relaxation, Dhikr Bibliography: 51 (2000 – 2022)
