Abstract

Rehabilitation of tertiary irrigation canals in Jalur Mulya village in purpose to optimizing the dimensions design so that the irrigation system can work optimally, so Jalur Mulya village’s agricultural land could be planted twice a year. The used data is primary data that directly taken in the field and the secondary data in the form of rainfall and climatology data which comes from Kenten Rain Station. This study done within these steps : (1) Irrigation Water Needs Calculation, (2) Waste Modulus Calculation, (3) Channel Plan Debit Calculation, (4) Calculation and Determination of the dimensions of tertiary irrigation canals. The calculation results that have been obtained is The Maximum Irrigation Water Needs’ amount 1,22 lt/dt/ha, Waste Modulus’ amount 4,2961 lt/sec/ha, and Maximum Channel Plan Debit’s amount 0,108 m3/sec. There are 58 tertiary irrigation channels, which are planned open trapezoid shaped that functioned as carrier canal and waste canal. The dimensions of the tertiary canal that used for rehabilitation is b = 0,4 m - 0,5 m, h = 0,1 m - 0,4 m, B = 0,6 m - 1,3 m, and H = 0,4 m - 0,8m.
