Abstract

Tertiary irrigation network design is planned to increase agricultural production in the form of rice and secondary crops, this design is planned in Pematang Palas Village, Banyuasin I District, Banyuasin Regency. The data used in this plan were obtained from direct surveys, secondary data from the BMKG Palembang City Kenten Station. In this study divided into two analyzes, namely hydrology and hydraulics. The values obtained from hydrological analysis, evapotranspiration (Etp) of 2.72 to 3.50, rice field water requirements (IR) of 10.82 mm/day to 11.58 mm/day, the largest irrigation water requirement (NFR) of 1.33 mm/day and waster modulus (Dm) 4.622 lt/sec.ha. For hydraulic analysis, the dimensions of the secondary channel are obtained with wet section dimensions (b) 0.75 m, water level (h) 0.44 m to 0.75 m, channel height (H) 0.84 m to 1.25 m, channel slope (m) 1 and guard height ( w) 0.4m to 0.5m. The discharge obtained is 0.18 m3/s to 0.64 m3/s. For tertiary channel with wet cross section (b) 0.75 m, water level (h) from 0.18 m to 0.36 m, with channel slope (m) 1, guard height (w) 0.4 m and channel height (H) 0.58 m to 0.76 m. With a design discharge of 0.06 m3/s to 0.13 m3/s. 3. Then for the calculation of the sluice gate, the results of the calculation of the sluice gate that will be used in Pematang Palas village are taken, with a pipe size of 10 to 12 inches used.
