Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jumlah kehilangan gabah pada kegiatan pascapanen dan memverifikasi prosentase kehilangan pascapanen sebesar 20 %. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pengamatan langsung di lapangan dan pengolahan data menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian kehilangan hasil pascapanen ini dilaksanakan pada agro ekosistem padi lahan rawa lebak dengan menggunakan padi varietas ciherang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehilangan pada tahap panen sebesar 7,63 %, Pengangkutan sebesar 3,67 %, perontokkan sebesar 3,83 %, pengeringan sebesar 0,67 %, penyimpanan 0,33 %, penggilingan sebesar 0,73 %. Total kehilangan hasil pascapanen 16,86 % hasil ini lebih kecil dibanding dengan total kehilangan oleh BPS yakni 20,42 %. Perbedaan kehilangan disebabkan perbedaan cara pengamatan dan perhitungan data.
