Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal Besaran vektor. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Sriwijaya tahun ajaran 2021/20222. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika angkatan 2019, 2020, dan 2021 Kelas Indralaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif campuran kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah divalidasi dengan dosen ahli, yang berjumlah 31 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mengalami kesalahan saat menyelesaikan soal-soal besaran vektor pada sub materi operasi penjumlahan vektor, proyeksi vektor, representasi vektor, transformasi vektor dan perkalian vektor. Kesalahan dominan dialami oleh mahasiswa adalah pada materi perkalian vektor.
