Abstract

This study aim was to determine the effect of career information services for readiness of students of class X department of TKR 1 SMK Negeri 1 Indralaya. The research method used experiment with one group pre-post test design. Population in this study were all students off class X TKR. Sample of 26 students were selected using puposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques was a scale meaning working readiness of students, treatment were each given for 45 minutes 3 times. The result of pre-test shows student understand about job readiness of 116.03 with low category. While the results of the post-test showed an increase to understanding the readiness of student work that is equal to 146.38 with high category. Supported data analysis with coefficient usied t test 1,710 in the significant level of 0.05. Of meant that career information services influenced the readiness of work of X grade majoring TKR in SMK Negeri North Indralaya.
