Abstract

Kaptopril sebagai antihipertensi oral dapat menimbulkan beberapa efek samping, seperti serostomia, gingivitis, dan lesi ulseratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kaplopril mempunyai pengaruh terhadap munculnya Stomatitis Apthousa Reccurent (SAR). Penelitian observasi dengan metode cross sectional telah dilakukan di Poli Penyakit Dalam RSMH Palembang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 140 sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kemudian sampel diberikan sejumlah pertanyaan dan dilakukan pemeriksaan SAR di rongga mulut sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 13 sampel pengguna kaptopril yang memiliki riwayat SAR dan 5 diantaranya ditemukan adanya SAR di rongga mulut. Hasil perhitungan statistik dengan uji Chi-Square didapat nilai P sebesar 0,000. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan kaptopril terhadap munculnya SAR pada pasien hipertensi di Poli Penyakit Dalam RSMH Palembang.
