Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the influence of education, special training and work experience on the productivity of tenega working in the furniture industry. This research was conducted in Palembang City, with sample as many as 87 respondents from total population of 660 people. Method of data retrieval is suvey method with technique of sampling proportional random sampling. Data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with OLS method. The results of this study were (1) No difference in labor productivity based on education; (2) There are differences based on special training; (3) Work experience has positive and significant effect.
