Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution and effectiveness of local taxes and local levies in the city of North Musi Rawas and their contribution to the Regional PAD of Musi Rawas Regency. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The place of research is the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency in the city of North Musi Rawas Regency. This research data use secondary data. This study uses data on the realization of the regional revenue budget at the regional revenue office in North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province from 2015 to 2019. The results of the analysis show that in 2018 it has the smallest contribution of regional retribution to Regional Original Income (PAD) of (71%) and in 2015 it has the highest contribution rate of (205%) so it can be included in the very good category. In addition, the average contribution of regional retribution from 2015 to 2019 is (90.7%), this is categorized in the criteria as very good because it is above (50%). Based on the results of the analysis and contribution calculations, the Regional Tax and Levy Management Agency of the city of North Musi Rawas Regency should measure more accurately the amount of regional tax capacity that the Regional Government can extract.
