Abstract

Question Answering System (QAS) merupakan suatu sistem yang dapat membuat pengguna mendapatkan informasi dalam bentuk natural language question dan memberikan kutipan teks singkat atau frase sebagai jawaban. Pada penelitian Indonesian Question Answering System (IQAS), dapat dilakukan dengan domain terbuka dan domain tertutup. Pada penelitian ini digunakan domain terbuka dengan tujuan agar cakupan pertanyaan lebih beragam. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, diputuskan hanya menggunakan kata tanya kapan dengan metode regular expression untuk mendeteksi pola jawaban pertanyaan kapan. Terdapat lima proses penelitian yaitu mencari website yang mengandung keyword dengan google, melakukan web scrapping, preprocessing, menyaring kandidat jawaban dengan regular expression dan menampilkan kandidat jawaban dengan jumlah terbanyak. Pada pengujian dengan 200 pertanyaan kapan yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan nilai akurasi sebesar 77,50%, presisi sebesar 74,29% dan recall sebesar 100%. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses preprocessing dan metode regular expression mempengaruhi akurasi, presisi dan recall serta dapat melakukan proses tanya jawab dengan pertanyaan kapan.
