Abstract
This research aimed to determine the effect of vermicompost and NPK fertilizers on the land after the coal mine land to plant seedlings growing acacia (Acacia mangium willd). This research was conducted in the greenhouse Department of Land and soil analysis carried out at the Laboratory of Chemistry, Department of Biology and Soil Fertility Soil Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sriwijaya Indralaya. The research was carried out from May until July 2012. The research is a pot experiment using two treatment factors, namely: factor 1. Vermicompos (V) consisting of three levels, namely: (V0); Controls, (VI), 10 ton ha-1 and (V2), 20 tons ha-1. Factor II. combination with vermicompost fertilizer NPK (N) comprising three levels, namely: (NO), control, (Nl) XA NPK; 0.625 g NPK poly-1 (N2) full NPK; .1.25 g NPK-1 polybag. Data measurement results and the results of laboratory analysis of plants were tested with analysis of variance (F test) and if the test results show the effect of a real F will be followed by BNT test The results showed that, provision of vermicompost and NPK fertilizer did not significantly affect the growth of Acacia mangium Willd seedlings on the ground after a coal mine lands. The combination of vermicompost (10 ton ha-1) with 0.625 g of NPK fertilizer poly-1 gave the highest response to the growth of Acacia
