Abstract

The main objectives of this study was to measure the effect of Economic Growth, Interest Rate, Rupiah Exchange Rate, the Total of Population who be Customer of Cell Phones with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Indonesia. This study specifically used a quantitative data, which used secondary data, type source The Central Statistics Agency, Indonesian Economic and Financial Statistics (SEKI) and World Bank. This research used the Auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). Therefore, the results of the study had shown the short-term economic growth and interest rates have a positive impact and significant improvement on Foreign Direct Investment. Meanwhile, the Rupiah Exchange Rate and the Total of Population who be Customer of Cell Phones have a negative and significant impact on Foreign Direct Investment. The estimation results in the long term, Economic Growth have positive impact but not significant impact on Foreign Direct Investment. Meanwhile, the Interest Rate and the number of population who be customer of cell phones have a positive and significant effect.
