Abstract

The landfill Sukawinatan in Sukajaya Village, Sukarame Palembang District applies waste processing with an open dumping. The open dumping is the treatment of waste that is simply thrown away without any special handling so that it can pollute the environment, especially ground water. From the accumulation of garbage, it can produce leachate which has the potential to pollute the environment around the landfill area, especially in residential areas. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research at the Sukarami landfill to determine the distribution area of leachate. Identification of information on the distribution of leachate below the surface using the 2D geoelectric method with the Wenner-Schlumberger using the estimated leachate resistivity value <10 m and the RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error) value error that indicates the difference between the apparent resistivity value from the measurements in the field and the value of the apparent resistivity in the field. The apparent resistivity calculation results to represent the condition of the cross-section results must have RMSE value below 10%. This study uses 6 paths by following the circumference of the pile of garbage in the cardinal directions. Path selection is done by looking at field conditions that have the potential for leachate pollution to the surrounding environment. From the data obtained, it is then inverted to obtain cross-sectional results of the suspected leachate using software with the results of the suspected leachate position represented by a resistivity value <10 m with a blue gradation in each track with an RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error) above 10% indicating this value cannot represent the actual conditions in the field. The western track has a leachate estimate of depth 2-9 m with leachate flow direction to the west, the eastern track has a leachate estimate depth of 4-9 m with leachate distribution to the east, the southern and northern routes have no leachate identified due to the resistivity value above 10 m .
