Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of exchange rates and inflation on Indonesian textile exports. The data used in this study is secondary data with the period 1990-2020 obtained from official websites such as International Financial Statistics, UNCOMTRADE and Worldbank. The analytical technique used is quantitative analysis using multiple regression analysis with the Autoregression Distributed Lag (ARDL) method. The regression results in this study found that the exchange rate variable had an effect on Indonesian textile exports in both the short and long term, while the inflation variable only affected Indonesia's textile exports in the short term. Furthermore, as an additional variable, the Indonesian textile export variable in the previous year also had an effect in the short term.
