Abstract
This research aim was to determine the learning problems of students grade VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Sakatiga with the sample of the study amounted to 64 students who were selected by purposive sampling technique. Instrument for data collection was a cheeklist developed by Mastur and Rifa’i, called AUM-PTSDL which covered 5 problem are (1) Requirements mastery of the material (2) Learning skills (3) Learning tools (4) Personal self (5) Learnig environment and socio emotional. Analysis of data were descriptive. The results of research showed that the most problem was in the area of learning skill (30,08) and the lowest problem in the area learning facilities (2,84).
