Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of Health Promotion Strategy in Lembak Health Center". This research is motivated by the fact that there are still people who throw household waste carelessly and the low percentage of the number of people who follow the elderly posyandu. This study aims to analyze the health promotion strategy at the Lembak Health Center. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This study uses the of Health Promotion Strategy according to the Ottawa Charter (1986) based on 5 (five) strategies, namely: health-oriented policies, supportive environment, reorientation of health services, individual skills, and community mobilization. The results of this study indicate that the health promotion strategy according to the Ottawa Charter has been applied to the implementation of health promotion at the Lembak Health Center, but there are still shortcomings, namely the absence of regional regulations from both the province and district/city that specifically regulate health promotion. The recommended recommendation in this study is to make local regulations on health promotion in more depth so that they can be adapted to local conditions.
