Abstract
Indonesia and Australia have a strong relationship since the last few years, especially in the economic sector which has experienced a significant increase, the relationship between the two has been further strengthened through the establishment of the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) which has been in force since 5 July 2020, interestingly at IA - CEPA comprehensive cooperation is carried out including in the field of Technical Education Vocational and Training (TVET) which has an important and strategic role in preparing human capital with implications for economic growth and welfare of Indonesia. TVET has opened access to educational cooperation in the services market as well as investment provided by Indonesia to Australia amounting to 67%. This study aims to provide an overview of the factors that influence Indonesia in the IA-CEPA cooperation in the field of TVET. This study uses the theory of international cooperation from Robert Axelrod and Robet O. Keohane, this study also uses the method of literature study and interviews with related parties. The results of the study show that the influencing factors in the IA-CEPA in the TVET sector are the interest in human resource development as software to accelerate the Indonesian economy to become more advanced.
