Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pemberian ASI berpengaruh terhadap pola defekasi bayi seperti frekuensi defekasi yang sering, konsistensi yang lunak atau cair, dan warna feses yang kuning. Konsistensi feses merupakan salah satu indikator untuk mengidentifikasi gangguan pola defekasi bayi seperti diare dan konstipasi. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan pemberian ASI dengan konsistensi feses bayi berusia 1-6 bulan di Puskesmas Sekip. Metode: Penelitian observasional dengan desain potong lintang dilakukan pada bayi berusia 1-6 bulan dengan consecutive sampling di Puskesmas Sekip, pada bulan November menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis statistika menggunakan uji Chi~Square. Hasil: Jumlah sampel sebanyak 150 orang. Terdapat 50 orang (33,3%) mengonsumsi ASl eksklusif selama 0 bulan kehidupan dan 54 orang (36%) yang mengonsumsi ASI selama 4 bulan kehidupan. Konsistensi feses keras 1,3%, lunak 58,2%, dan cair 40% pada bayi yang diberi ASL Konsistensi feses keras 7%, lunak 73,2%, dan cair 19,7 % pada bayi yang tidak diberi ASI. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pemberian ASI dengan konsistensi feses bayi (P=l,271).
