Abstract

The determination of the best village every year by the Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Muara Enim. However, the best village process still has problems caused by the system so that it is prone to errors in the assessment, or the existence of the same highest value so that it is difficult to determine which village is the best. To complete these needs, a decision support system is needed. The purpose of this research is to design and create a decision support system to determine the best village in Kabupaten Muara Enim. The Decision Support System for Determining the Best Village to be built applies the Weighted Product (WP) method to simplify the calculation process, so that the best village process can be carried out quickly, precisely and accurately. There are 6 criteria used, education, health, finance, economy, security and security, and community institutions. Based on this research, it was found that Dangku village was the most recommended village to be the best village in Kabupaten Muara Enim.
