Abstract

ABSTRAK KARAKTERISTIK INFEKSI Pseudomonas aeruginosa PADA PASIEN COVID-19 DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG (Brian Jordan Yuwono, 8 September 2022, 66 Halaman) Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya Latar Belakang: COVID-19 merupakan penyakit sangat menular yang telah menyebabkan banyak kematian di seluruh dunia. Pasien COVID-19 dapat mengalami koinfeksi, salah satu bakteri penyebab koinfeksi tersering adalah Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan data sekunder yang berisi status pasien COVID-19. Hasil: Didapatkan sebanyak 67 pasien COVID-19 yang terinfeksi Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Infeksi Pseudomonas aeruginosa paling sering terjadi pada pasien laki-laki (62,7%) dan rentang usia 46-65 tahun (35,8%) Kesimpulan: Infeksi Pseudomonas aeruginosa paling sering ditemukan pada pasien COVID-19 dengan karakteristik tertentu. Kata Kunci: COVID-19, Koinfeksi ABTSRACT CHARACTERISTICS OF Pseudomonas aeruginosa INFECTION IN COVID-19 PATIENTS AT RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG (Brian Jordan Yuwono, 8th September 2022, 66 Pages) Sriwijaya University Faculty of Medicine Background: COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that has caused many deaths worldwide. COVID-19 patients can be co-infected, one of the most common bacteria to cause co-infection is Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Method: This study is an observational descriptive study with secondary data containing the status of COVID-19 patients. Results: There were 67 COVID-19 patients infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection was most common in male patients (62.7%) and of age range 46-65 years (35.8%). Conclusion: Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection is most common in COVID-19 patients with certain characteristics. Keywords: COVID-19, Co-infection
