Abstract

This study was aims at firuling out the Flypaper Effect of the Regional experuiitures of South Sumatra. Flypaper Effect is a coruiition which local governments tends to deperui on the central goverment 's furui transfer to run the local government's development due to the low incomes of the local goverment. The data were secondary ones taken from the year 2012 to 2016. Analysis technique used in research is quantitative arui qualitative analysis technique, where quantitative analysis use panel data regression. The results of this study irulicate that for the original revenue area and general allocation funds have a positive arui significant impact on the district I municipal speruling in South Sumatra. Flypaper Effect occurred in the District I City of South Sumatra with PAD coefficient value of 0.288416 smaller in comparison with the DAU variable coefficient value of 0.539108. The linkage between independent variables (Local Revenue, General Allocation Fund) to the dependent variable (regional experuiiture) has a linkage of96 percent
