Abstract

The title of this research is the effect of the train of fixed target on gyaku-tsuki strokes in karate at SMA Negeri 9 Banyuasin. It was aimed to determine the magnitude of the effect of the train fixed target on gyaku-tsuki strokes using experimental research methods with One Group Pretest-posttest design. The population of this research was all of the 34 members of karate at SMA Negeri 9 Banyuasin. The result of the pretest obtained the highest score 3 and the lowest value was 0, while the posttest data had the highhest score of 5 and the lowest score of 3. An average difference of 1.65 was obtained from the result of the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used is the statistical “t-test” with a significant level (α = 0.05). Based on the result of the data analysis, it was obtained that t-count = 10,470 and t-table = 1,70. Thus the hypothesis in this study is accepted. The Ha Stated that there was an effect of the train fixed target on gyaku-tsuki strokes in karate at SMA Negeri 9 Banyuasin.
