Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative research with the title "Management of Local News Production at Radio Republik Indonesia Palembang in the Digital Era." In the current digital era, Radio Republik Indonesia Palembang already has online newsfacilities listed on the rri.co.id website. The purpose of this study was to find outhow the implementation of local news production management carried out by Radio Republik Indonesia Palembang. The source of data in this research is primary data obtained by conducting in-depth interviews with informants and direct observation of the local news production process, while secondary data is obtained through documentation and literature studies. Based on the research results, Radio Republik Indonesia Palembang has implemented good management in producing a local news. The obstacles found in the reporting process can be overcome properly.
