Abstract
This studi aims to (1) describe the result of the students and teachers of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Prabumulih on learning media to identify elements of fantasy story texts based on Lectora Inspire. (2) Describe the design of Lectora Inspire-based media in learning to identify elements of fantasy story texts for class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Prabumulih. (3) Describe the result of expert validation of Lectora Inspire-based media in identifying elements of fantasy story texts for class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Prabumulih. Knowing that Lectora Inspire-based learning media is effective in identifying elements of fantasy story tests based on beta tests using the one to one (1-1) method. This study uses research and development methods Alessi & Trollip (2001) consisting of planning, design, and development stages. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, questionnaires, validation sheets, and effectiveness tests assesment sheets. The result of this study teachers and student need Lectora Inspire-based learning media in identifying fantasy story text elements to increase students’ understanding, enthusiasm, and motivation in identifying fantasy story text elements. The Lectora Inspire-based learning media validation test was carried out by media experts, material experts, and language experts. The results of media validation get a score of 55 with a percentage of 91,66% from a maximum score of 60. The results of material validation get a score of 30 with a percentage of 93,75% from a maximum score of 32. The result of languange validation get a score of 16 with a percentage of 100% from a maximum score of 16. Based of the validation results, it can be concluded that learning media based of Lectora Inspire in identifying elements of fantasy story text, it is very good and very valid. Based on the results of the beta test, the practicality assessment of learning media by the teacher got a score of 52 (92,85%), high-ability students got a score of 54 (96,42%), moderately capable students got a score of 52 (92,85%), and low-ability atudents got a score of 52 (92,85%). It can be concluded that the Lectora Inspire-based learning media in identifying elements of fantasy story texts for class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Prabumulih is very effective and very well used in learning to identify elements of fantasy story texts.
