Abstract

The problem raised in this research is the acquisition of sarcasm and cynicism in the compilation video of 5 SUCI comics (Stand Up Comedy Indonesia) IX Roasting Edition Aldi Taher and its implications in learning Indonesian. This study has the objectives of (1) to find out the style of sarcasm and cynicism in the compilation video of 5 comics SUCI IX Roasting Edition Aldi Taher, (2) to find out the implications of the form of sarcasm and cynicism in the video Compilation 5 Komika Suci IX Roasting Edition Aldi Taher in learning Indonesian. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection in this study used the note-taking technique. The data in this study are in the form of sentences containing sarcasm and cynicism spoken by the research subjects. The source of data in this study is the compilation video of 5 SUCI comics IX Roasting Edition Aldi Taher. The results of this study resulted in the number of utterances as many as 30 utterances and divided into 2 parts, namely 12 utterances of sarcasm style and 18 utterances of cynicism. The results of this study have implications in learning Indonesian for class IX . KD 3.18 Identify the story line, chapter by act, and conflict in the drama that is read or watched. While the second KD is 4.18. Shows one of the characters in the drama that is read or watched orally.
