Abstract

The title of this research is “Analysis of Consumptive Behavior on Accounting Students at Musi Catholic University Charitas In the New Normal Life Era During the Corona Virus Pandemic (Covid-19) in the City of Palembang”. This research view the forms of consumptive behavior with the goal of knowing in detail the form of consumptive behavior itself, and the factors of consumptive behavior in accounting students of Musi Charitas Catholic University. This research is expected to be useful for development of sociological knowledge and to be a useful reading material for readers or anybody who conduct a similar research and study more about consumptive behavior. The Method that the writer used is descriptive qualitative with consumer society theory, that developed by Jean Baudrillard. The results of this study, shows the forms of consumptive behavior in the media. the forms of consumptive behavior, has a number of sub chapters which is food, and leasure time. in addition, the factors of consumptive behavior in accounting students at Musi Charitas that the author took was the environment factor.
