Abstract

The background of this research is that in the implementation of the administration of the official letter text of the Palembang City Manpower Office previously using a manual system then from the manual system it changed to an online system using an official document information system application called SINDI which was created by the Palembang City Communications and Information Office and became a local policy. palembang city and implemented through Palembang city government regulations through Regional Regulation Number 51 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Service Manuscripts within the Palembang City Government in Article 8 which states that the Implementation of Electronic Service Manuscripts is carried out using the Service Manuscript Information System application. This study discusses in more depth the impact of the application of the official text information system on the level of employee performance. This research was conducted at the Manpower Office of Palembang City. This type of research uses quantitative methods and the type of data used is primary while the data collection techniques are through questionnaires (questionnaires), interviews, and documentation. The author's data analysis technique uses validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, heterocodastisity test, simple linear regression test. This study uses O'brian's information systems theory cited by Yakub and the theory of organizational performance appraisal dimensions by Prawirosentono. The results of the study based on the data analysis carried out showed that the SINDI application (official text information system) had a relatively contrasting and significant effect on employee performance in an organization. Based on the findings in the field that the SINDI Application not only makes it easier to process incoming and outgoing letters, but another thing from the SINDI Application is the granting of a Shelter Permit for Prospective Indonesian Migrant Workers and a Recommendation Letter for Private Employment Service Institutions, especially in the field of administration, but also provides employee convenience. City Employment Service. With this, the use of technology based on the SINDI information system application (official document information system) can be maximized in order to improve the performance of employees within the Palembang City Manpower Office.
