Abstract

This study aims to analyse Angola's Strategy in Increasing China's Foreign Investment in 2014-2015. This research uses the Foreign Direct Investment theory and qualitative analysis method. The source of data used by the author is a literature study by collecting secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by collecting secondary data in the form of related research, documentation and official publications on the Angolan government website. The results show that the Angolan government's strategy to increase Chinese foreign investment is evidenced by the Angolan policy. Which through this policy can encourage superior human resource capacity, so as to build a positive image in the international sphere. AIP also issued a Reduction of Bureaucracy Program (RBP) policy by reducing costs and simplifying the administrative process for investors to encourage investment in Angola. In addition, the openness of the Angolan government in FDI by showing Angola's natural wealth for oil and gas, has a good impact on the country's economic growth and is an attraction for investors. However, the main obstacle to accelerate investment in Angola is the poor quality of infrastructure. Thus, the Angolan Government issued the International Production Relocation Program (IPRP) which aims to attract foreign direct investment from technologically advanced companies from Tiongkok, which are considered capable of helping Angolan to complete infrastructure development in their country.
