Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk Tanjung Enim Mining Unit is a mining state-owned holding company engaged in energy and coal mining. Mining system at PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk uses an open pit mining system with the shovel and truck method and the continuous mining method BWE (Bucket Wheel Excavator system). Pit 3 West Banko in September 2019 is targeted for overburden removal of 2,300,000 BCM, however, overburden production has not been achieved so it is necessary to evaluate the performance of loading and unloading equipment and transportation equipment working on overburden removal at the Pit 3 Banko location. West in September 2019. The purpose of this research is to determine the achievement of overburden stripping production, the constraint factors that affect the achievement of overburden stripping production, and efforts to increase overburden stripping production. The research method used in this research activity is to combine theory and actual data in the field regarding research, so that analysis and solutions will be obtained in solving problems. The results showed that based on the calculation, the actual productivity of the PC-3000 electric shovel digging tool and the Belaz 75315 conveyance had a productivity of 4.468 BCM/hour and 4,135.32 BCM/hour, respectively, so that the achievement of overburden stripping production in pit 3 West Banko only reached 2,055,254.04.
