Abstract
To face the climate of global competition in the field of oil palm plantations, especially productivity, the company expects a change in performance. Employees, especiall y the production division (garden) where the production division is considered the main actor whose level of performance will affect other divisions. This research aims to (1) describe the conditions of the work environment, motivation, and performance of employees in the production department at PT. Cahaya Cemerlang Lestari. (2) to find out how the influence of the environment and work motivation on the performance of employees in the production department at PT. Cahaya Cemerlang Lestari. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were employees in the field of production at PT. Cahaya Cemerlang Lestari. The total population in this study was 34 people. The sampling technique used in this research is using a saturated sampling techniq ue. Data collection is carried out from April to May 2022. The technique of collecting data used is a questionnaire/questionnaire and interviews. The data processing method used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The r esults showed that (1) The condition of the work environment based on the answers from the respondents who are in the high category means that the work environment in the factory is very good and conducive, for work motivation the average respondent's answ er is in the medium category, meaning that the motivation in the company is sufficient good but can still be improved, and for performance conditions based on answers from respondents who are in the high category on average, which means the abilities and s kills of production employees have been very good. (2) Work environment and motivation together have a significant influence on the performance of employees of the production division of PT. Cahaya Cemerlang Lestari. The work environment coefficient value is 0.77. Stating that every 1 score increase for work motivation will be followed by an increase in employee performance of 0.77. For work motivation coefficient value of 0.38. This means that if there is an increase of 1 score for work motivation, it will be followed by an increase in employee performance of 0.38.
