Abstract

This study analyzes the Palembang Local Short Film Production Management "La Nyungka". The purpose of this study is to find out how the production management of the local Palembang short film "La Nyungka" is carried out by the filmmaker, whether this film has carried out production management in accordance with the rules that exist in the world of cinema. The theory used in this research is the Production Management Theory from Tino Saroengallo's book entitled Fairy Tales in a Film Production. This study uses a qualitative method with descriptive data research type. The focus of this research consists of idea development, pre-production, production and post-production. Data were obtained through primary data by conducting in-depth interviews with the producer, director, and/or one crew member, namely the cameraman from the film “La Nyungka” and documentation during film production management. The results of this study indicate that the Palembang Local Short Film Production Management "La Nyungka" was studied in 4 stages, namely Development, Pre Production, Production and Post Production.
