Abstract

Sungai Ogan merupakan salah satu sungai yang berada di Provinsi Sumatra Selatan. Sungai Ogan pada daerah penelitian dikontrol oleh Formasi Gumai (Tmg), Formasi Air Benakat (Tma), Formasi Muaraenim (Tmpm) dan Satuan Gunungapi Muda (Qhv) serta terdapat pada dataran rendah dengan panjang sungai 9 kilometer. Analisis morfometri dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi pendukung seperti Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dengan membandingkan bentuk sungai melalui citra satelit Landsat 4-5 TM dan Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS dengan cara overlay data aliran sungai tahun 1993 dengan tahun 2021 untuk melihat perubahan meander pada aliran sungai. Pengukuran morfometri dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan beberapa parameter diantaranya lebar sungai (W), panjang aliran (S), panjang leher liku (L), panjang sumbu (A), jari-jari kelengkungan (R) dan sinousitas (C). Aliran sungai dibagi menjadi 15 segmen dengan tipe perubahan bentuk meander berupa tipe simple, double combinations dan triple combinations. Hasil pengukuran morfometri sungai menunjukkan tipe evolusi meander berupa sinous dan berkelok dan terus mengalami erosi hingga saat ini.
