Abstract
The study aims to determine the ratio of the clearance and rembation distance (H/V) of ceramic emitter to several comparisons of sand and clay composition. The research was conducted in July 2018 until December 2018. The study was conducted with a five-treatment comparison of clay and sand emitter of 1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2, 1:2.5 and 1:3. The Data observed in this study are bulk density (g/cm³), soil porosity, wetting distance (cm), early ground water content, average emitter discharge. The observed Parameter in this study was the average horizontal wetting distance of the aligned Dripline (H), the average vertical wetting distance at the top of the Dripline (Va), the average vertical wetting distance at the bottom of the dripline (Vb), the distance ratio A horizontal wetting against the vertical under the Dripline (H/Vb), and a horizontal-to-vertical wetting ratio over the dripline (H/Va). The results showed that the comparison of clay and sand emitter caused vertical wetting distances and horizontal wetting distances were increasing. The ratio of the horizontal wetting distance to the vertical wetting distance under the Dripline (H/Vb) and the horizontal wetting ratio to the vertical above the best dripline (H/Va) is a ceramic emitter made with a comparison of clay and sand 1:3
