Abstract

Kanker serviks uteri merupakan kanker ginekologis tersering pada wanita. Berdasarkan gambaran histopatologisnya, kanker serviks uteri dibagi menjadi karsinoma sel skuamosa, adenokarsinoma, karsinoma adenoskuamosa, karsinoma neuroendokrin sel kecil. Faktor resikonya adalah usia pertama kali berhubungan seksual< 18 tahun, bergonta-ganti pasangan seksual, kontrasepsi oral, dan merokok. Namun, belum ada laporan terbaru mengenai karakteristik penderita kanker serviks uteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik gambaran histopatologi penderita kanker serviks uteri di Laboratorium Patologi Anatomi Rumah Sakit Mohammad Hoesin periode 1 Januari 2007-31 Desember 2011. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Patologi Anatomi Rumah Sakit Mohammad Hoesin Palembang dengan studi deskriptif melalui rekam medis pasien. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah penderita kanker serviks uteri yang melakukan pemeriksaan di Laboratorium Patologi Anatomi Rumah Sakit Mohammad Hoesin Palembang pada 1 Januari 2007-31 Desember 2011. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan gambaran histopatologis, karsinoma sel skuamosa 63,3%, adenokarsinoma 21,8%, karsinoma adenoskuamosa 7,9%, karsinoma neuroendokrin sel_ kecil 1%. Berdasarkan karakteristik pasien, 48-53 tahun 26%, telah kawin 99,7%, ibu rumah tangga 87,6%, 99,3% Islam. Jenis terbanyak kanker serviks uteri adalah karsinoma sel skuamosa, dengan karakteristik pasien yaitu berusia 48-53 tahun, telah menikah, beragama Islam dan berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga.
