Abstract

Lokasi penelitian berada di Daerah Kayu Ajaran dan sekitarnya serta termasuk dalam Cekungan Bengkulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat aktivitas tektonik menggunakan pendekatan geomorfologi kuantitatif yang dilakukan di Sub-DAS Air Pino dan Sub-DAS Air Manna. Parameternya meliputi: Drainage Density (Dd), Asymmetry Factor (AF), Hypsometric Curve and Hypsometric Integral (HI), Mountain Front Sinusity (Smf), Valley Floor Width to Height Ratio (Vf) dan SL. Hasilnya menunjukkan nilai Dd sebesar 4,408-6,516 km/km2, nilai AF 47,65 dan 63,45, nilai HI 0,4891-0,50, nilai Smf 2,24-3,91, nilai Vf 0,3-1,67. Kemudian dilakukan perhitungan IAT (Index of Active Tectonic). Hasil perhitungan IAT diperoleh nilai 1,6-2,4 yang termasuk dalam kelas tektonik sedang-tinggi (kelas 2 dan 3) (El Hamdouni, 2008). Dengan demikian, daerah penelitian dikendalikan oleh aktivitas tektonik tingkat tinggi-sedang dan proses permukaan seperti denudasi dan erosi, yang dapat menimbulkan risiko pergerakan tanah.
