Abstract

This thesis analyzes differences in socioeconomic levels of hospitalized patients. The purpose of this study was to describe the socioeconomic status of patients in the selection of inpatient classes at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. This study uses quantitative methods with the type of explanatory research that explains the relationship between one variable and another. The sample in this study were 80 inpatients. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods used are observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is chi square analysis obtained <0.05 from the results of data processing, it can be seen that the value of R Square is 0.888 or 88.60%, meaning that the dependent variable is socioeconomic status, while 21.1 is explained by the independent variable in the selection of inpatient classes. keywords: Socio-Economic, Hospitalization
