Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beberapa karakteristik agronomi dari beberapa aksesi lokal tanaman padi (Oryza Sativa) rawa lebak yang berasal dari beberapa wilayah produksi di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dilaksanakan dari bulan Febuari sampai September 2011 di Kelurahan Keramasan Kecamatan Kertapati Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari sembilan aksesi lokal tanaman padi rawa lebak dan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Setiap ulangan terdiri dari sembilan unit perlakuan masing-masing terdiri dari 75 tanaman sehingga total seluruh tanaman adalah 2025 tanaman. Adapun aksesi padi lokal yang digunakan adalah Bone, Pelita Rampak, Kuning, Siam, Petek, Senia, Sawo Rimbo, Sawah Beling dan Putih Olak. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa padi lokal Petek dan Bone menunjukkan karakteristik agronomi terbaik terhadap parameter hasil produksi yang meliputi parameter jumlah gabah per malai, jumlah gabah isi per malai, persentase gabah isi, berat gabah per rumpun sampel dan berat gabah petak produksi.
