Abstract
The objective of research to determine the strain growth - nutrient efficient lines of maize at various dose levels of fertilizer N, P and K in marginal land and to determine the optimum dose of fertilizer on maize strain selection results in marginal land. Research was conducted from March to June at Research Station of Agro Techno Park (ATP), Bakung Village, North Indralaya, Subdistrict Ogan Ilir (OI) Regency, South Sumatera Province. This research used Split-Plot design with three replications. Main plot consisted of three level a fertilizer doze are without fertilizer (PO), 20% (Pl), 40% (P2), 60% (P3), 80% (P4) and 100% (P5 from Standard doze fertilizer of ATP), Second plot is 12 lines of maize. The results of research showed that the respon of lines maize are relatively the same with is the increasing of production by followed increasing of fertilizer doze until 100% (P5) from without fertilizer and highest yield was given by the maize line S.201.
