Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh tingkat naungan, dosis zat pengatur tumbuh, dan interaksinya yang mampu memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap stump mata tidur karet di pembibitan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Jurusan Budidaya Pertanian, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya, Indralaya. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada bulan Januari 2012 sampai dengan bulan April 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi dengan dua factor perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Petak utama adalah tingkat naungan (N) terdiri dari empat taraf, yaitu tanpa naungan (N0), kerapatan naungan paranet 50 % (Nl), kerapatan naungan paranet 75 % (N2) dan kerapatan naungan paranet 100 % (N3). Anak petak yaitu dosis zat pengatur tumbuh (Z) terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu 50 mg/stum (Zl), 100 mg/stum (Z2), dan 150 mg/stum (Z3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kerapatan naungan paranet berpengaruh terhadap persentase bibit tumbuh, waktu pecah mata okulasi, tinggi tunas, jumlah daun, dan panjang akar lateral. Pengaruh dosis zat pengatur tumbuh hanya berpengaruh terhadap waktu tumbuh mata okulasi. Pengaruh kerapatan naungan dan dosis zat pengatur tumbuh tidak terjadi interaksi
