Abstract

SMP Library RA Kartini is the source of all information both in physical and digital form. Information stored in it that is know science or social, economic, and so forth. During this library SMP RA Kartini not yet have information system marching computer. With manual data processing causing teachers and students difficulty in finding the books they want to read and make it harder for librarians to update the book data. So to overcome these problems required an online-based system to lend books using PHP programming language, and mysql as database. Based on the results of research that has been done, online book lending applications can make it easier to do book lending and provide convenience librarians in terms of processing book data as well as to control the time of borrowing books.
