Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of learning motivation with student achievement class XI IPS I SMA Negeri 14 Palembang 2017/2018 year. Research method using correlation method. Population in this research is all student of class XI SMA Negeri 14 Palembang. The sample of this research is 43 students of class XI IPS I SMA Negeri 14 Palembang taken using purposive sampling technique. Data collected by using questionnaire with data analysis using r test in pearson product moment analysis .. Result of calculation of correlation obtained (r count) 0,76> (r table) 0,308. Thus, there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and student achievement class XI IPS I SMA Negeri 14 Palembang 2017/2018 year. The results of the study also found that learning motivation was in the medium category.
