Abstract

Pravelensi IMS di kota Palembang pada tahun 2005 didapatkan gonore sebesar 37%, klamidia 28%, infeksi ganda gonore dan klamidia 14%, sifilis dini 10%, sifilis laten lanjut 5%, trikomoniasis vaginalis 18%, vaginosis bakterial 40%, dan kandidiasis vaginalis 12%. Mortalitas IMS yang terjadi pada masa kehamilan seperti sifilis yang tidak diobati akan menyebabkan kematian bayi baru lahir sebesar 14% dan kematian perinatal sebesar 40%. Gonore yang tidak diobati akan menyebabkan abortus spontan dan kelahiran prematur meningkat 35% dan 10% kematian perinatal. Tujuan : Mengetahui distribusi IMS beserta sebarannya berdasarkan angka kejadian, usia, jenis kelamin, status pernikahan, dan pekerjaan tahun 2009-2011 di RSUP DR. Moh. Hoesin Palembang. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional deskriptif menggunakan data rekam medik pasien di Ilmu Kesehatan Kulit dan Kelamin RSUP DR. Moh. Hoesin tahun 2009-2011. Hasil: Distribusi IMS selama tahun 2009-2011 berturu-turut 0,35%, 0,46% dan 0,86%, gonore jenis penyakit IMS terbanyak 23,81%, IMS lebih banyak menginfeksi kelompok usia 21-30 tahun, perempuan lebih banyak terinfeksi 51,59% dibandingkan laki-laki. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian distribusi IMS perempuan lebih banyak terinfeksi disbanding laki-laki, kelompok usia 21-30 tahun lebih berpotensi mengalami penyakit IMS
