Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the growth of lettuce (Lactuca Sativa L.) on the differences in the distance of the Ultraviolet LED lights.This research was conducted in February to April 2019 at the Energy and Electrification Laboratory of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research uses virgin in descriptive and presentation of data in the form of graphs and tables. The parameters observed were fast growing plants (cm/day), plant height (mm), percentage of plants growing (%), number of leaves (strands), plant weight (g), temperature (ºC), humidity (%), needs Power (W), Light intensity (Lux), Water discharge (Liter), EC (Electrical conductivity), pH of solution, Plant weight at harvest (gram), Age of plants at harvest. The results showed that the A (LED grow light hydroponic plant) lamp produced the best growth of lettuce plants with a plant weight of 10.11 g, the number of leaves was 8 strands, a temperature of 30.1ºC, humidity 76.9%, plant height 172.00 mm , Light Intensity of 1173 lux, Water discharge of 4.81 liter/minute and power requirements during growth of 27,918.89 Watts / hour.
