Abstract

Data from the Palembang City Health Office on March 11, 2022, the highest incidence of Covid-19 was in Ilir Barat I District, with a total of 1,777 confirmed cases and 849 active cases. Public health center as the foremost primary health care facility has no light responsibility. The purpose of the study is to analyze the knowledge and attitudes of visitors to the application of health protocols at the Public health center Ilir Barat I District. This is a quantitative study using a cross sectional design. Study used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The sample were 52 visitors at the Padang Selasa Health Center on and 48 people at the Kampus Health Center. Data analysis is using univariate and bivariate Fisher Exact. The results showed most of the respondents were in the age range of 38 years in the category of early adulthood 28%, higher education S1 46%, female 73%, respondents were household members 52%, vaccine status 100% had vaccination 1,2 and 3, facilities and good infrastructure (88%), good knowledge (88%), good attitude (95%), obedient behavior (91%), good health worker support (88%) There is a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.001 OR value 15.00 (95% CI: 3.26-68.87), attitude (p-value = 0.005 OR value 22.25 (95% CI: 3.10-159.69), support from health workers (p-value = 0.001 OR value 13.16 (95% CI: 2.90-59.78), on the behavior of implementing health protocols. The conclusion is that most visitors have implemented health protocols, however, visitors still found who did not comply with health protocols. Lack of supervision at the health center caused visitors not to comply with health protocols. Suggestions for the community to use facilities and infrastructure that has been provided by the Public health center, The health workers should reprimand visitors if they do not apply health protocols when seeking treatment.
