Abstract

Tumor ganas kolorektal merupakan masalah kesehatan utama di seluruh dunia yang diperkirakan menyerang satu juta individu per tahunnya dan menyebabkan 500.000 kematian per tahun. Tumor ini merupakan tumor tersering keempat pada pria dan tersering ketiga pada wanita di seluruh dunia. Jumlah kasus baru tumor ganas kolorektal pada penderita usia 65 tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi gambaran histopatologi tumor ganas kolorektal di Bagian Patologi Anatomi RSMH periode September 2010-September 2013 menurut usia dan jenis kelamin penderita. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan menggunakan data sekunder pada 168 pasien tumor ganas kolorektal di Bagian Patologi Anatomi RSMH Palembang. Usia penderita termuda adalah 18 tahun dan usia penderita tertua adalah 80 tahun. Kelompok usia dengan jumlah terbanyak adalah 54-62 tahun (27,4%). Penderita laki-laki lebih banyak dibandingkan perempuan (1,2:1). Tipe tumor ganas terbanyak adalah tipe karsinoma (95,2%) dan kebanyakan pasien ditemukan pada stadium IV (40%). Tumor ganas kolorektal makin sering ditemukan pada penderita usia muda. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin, lebih banyak penderita laki-laki daripada perempuan. Ketiga tipe tersebut kebanyakan ditemukan sudah pada stadium akhir. Kata kunci: Tumor ganas kolorektal, gambaran histopatologi, karsinoma, stadium
