Abstract
The pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus has a negative impact on Indonesia. To deal with this, the Indonesian goverment has made several policeies, one of whichis the Covid-19 vaccine. Ogan Komering Ilir District Health Office, in this case, is a regional goverment agency engaged in the health sector, taking part in the Covid-19 vaccination campaign. So therefore, this research aims to know abaout persuasive communication strategy conducted by Ogan Komering Ilir District Health in campaigning for the Covid-19 vaccintion. The theory used in this research is persuasive communication strategy by Melvin L. Defluer and Sandra J.Ball Roceach (Hendri, 2019) with qualitative descriptive method. Then, data is obtained from depth interview with two key informants and two supporting informants, observation, and documentation studies. The research outcomes shows that Helath Office strives as maxmial as possible to comply the elements of persuasive communication strategy within psychodynamic, sociocultural, and construction meaning. Ogan Komering Ilir District Health Office should concern to the campaign activities going directly to the field also within persuasive communication strategy.
