Abstract

The application of an environmentally sound drainage system or eco-drainage is a sustainable drainage management system by observing the carrying capacity of nature or environmental conditions so that solutions to problems caused by rainwater and wastewater runoff will be created and can reduce water pollutant parameters that enter into final disposal. The initial condition of the rubber waste water before the treatment process is that it contains an initial concentration of 5,029 Mg/L for BOD5, COD of 7,785 Mg/L, TSS of 213 Mg/L, and a pH of 4.4. At the retention time of 72 hours, the constructed wetlands reduce pollutant levels to meet the rubber wastewater quality standards set by the government as stipulated in Governor Regulation no. 8 of 2012. Based on the calculation of the planning of the rubber plantation wastewater treatment plant in Mulya Guna Village using the constructed wetland system, the dimensions for 2 equalization tanks (reservoir tanks) are 168 cm x 70 cm x 70 cm and the dimensions of the constructed wetland reactor. of 201 cm x 70 cm x 50 cm to accommodate a volume of 390 liters of water.
