Abstract

The biological resources produced by the Indonesian sea are very abundant. White snapper (L. calcarifer) is one of the leading marine commodities in Indonesia fisheries which are now very difficult to find in Indonesian marine waters and have a high valueone of the high-economical fish is white snapper (L. calcalifer). This researchaims to analyze the growth rate and survival rate as well asdetermine the effective feed for the growth rate of white snapper (L. calcarifer) fry. This research was carried out in February-April 2022 at the Indonesian Fisheries Center Marine Cultivation (BBPBL) Lampung. This research is experimental using Completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 levels of treatment of different types of feed, namely: pellet feed, trash fish feed, alternative feed (maggot) and combination feed with 3 times test. The data obtained were analyzed by Analysis of Variant (ANOVA), if there significant difference, followed by an honest real difference test (Turkey Test) for determine the treatment that has the same or different effect on the results. Research result shows the value of daily growth that continues to increase. Absolute weight growth yield snapper seeds ranged from 13-14 gr. The absolute length of snapper ranges from 6.7 to 10.7 cm. The percentage of survival in each treatment was 100%.
