Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan diameter telur ikan betok yang diberi pakan diperkaya vitamin E dengan dosis berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dengan kode perlakuan (V.E), V.EO tanpa pengkayaan vitamin E (kontrol), V.E1 (100 mg.kg-1), V.E2 (150 mg.kg-1), V.E3 (200 mg.kg-1), V.E4 (250 mg.kg-1) pakan. Parameter yang diamati berupa perkembangan diameter telur, tingkat kematangan gonad berdasarkan pengisian rongga perut dan warna telur serta kualitas air. Hasil penelitian manunjukkan bahwa pengkayaan vitamin E pada pakan sebesar 150 mg.kg-1 pakan memberi respon perkembangan diameter telur sebesar 0,401 mm dan tingkat kematangan gonad mencapai tahap memijah dengan warna telur transparan (masak), sedangkan parameter kualitas air selama pemeliharaan masih berada dalam kisaran toleransi ikan betok.
