Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the best type and composition of poultry manure as organic fertilizer on growth and growth analysis of kangkong. This research was conducted from January to February 2022 in the house yard (3°26'27.7"S, 104°13'00.6"E), Jalan Jendral Sudirman, Patih Galung Village, Prabumulih Barat, Prabumulih City, South Sumatera. This research used a randomized block design consisted of 10 treatments and 3 replications with three different types of manure and control treatment. The treatments in this research were control (A0), 10% bangkok chicken manure (A1), 20% bangkok chicken manure (A2), 30% bangkok chicken manure (A3), 10% broiler chicken manure (A4), 20% broiler chicken manure (A5), 30% broiler chicken manure (A6), 10% quail manure (A7), 20% quail manure (A8), and 30% quail manure (A9). The results of this research indicate that the effect of the composition from various types of manure has a very significant effect on almost all of the observed variables. The treatment that gave the best yield was found in A6 treatment (30% broiler chicken manure) and the treatment that gave the lowest yield was found in A0 (control).
